Honda 1980 XL250 XL250S, runs, shifts and starts as it should; needs nothing ready to ride. Just had the carburetor gone through and rebuilt and tune up by honda mechanic that specializes in 1970s thru 1980s Honda Motorcycles. Runs excellent and all lights, turn signals, horn, tachometer and speedometer work great. Not beat up or trashed has had an easy 8831 miles since new in 1980. All original with the exception of the muffler which is a Supertrap with built US Forestery approved spark arrestor. Motor has never been apart and has been maintained per. factory recommendations. Original paint and seat cover in excellent condition. Tires in very good condition with lots of tread remaining. Has a few scratches on the frame and little surface corrosion on the chrome plated parts, very nice original motorcycle in very good condition. note this year has the built in compression release to make kicking easier; kicks through like a 100 cc motorcycle and starts on the first kick when warm and 1-2 kicks when cold. very collectible very nice dual sport, great for camping, trail riding or buzzing around town. Current California title in my name and current registration good through June 2012. Will assist with international shipment at buyers expense. Note I have a very good source for shipments to England, France, Australia and the Netherlands.
