Why did I buy it? I bought this for a good price on Saturday 12-17-2011. I bought it with the intention to make a quick profit off of it and sell it to someone who wants to inspect/fix/ the engine and either keep it or sell it for a profit themselves. This is a one owner van. The engine does not start. According to the previous/original owner, the engine needs replaced. The previous owner was an older gentleman who used it primarily for road trips with his grandchildren. He stated that the engine stopped running while on the highway in October of this year. He took it to the dealership and they told him it needed a new engine. He put it for sale and I bought it yesterday. The engine does not crank over--it clicks when the key is turned. You may get lucky and it is something minor, however do not count on it. ASSUME THE ENGINE IS JUNK AND NEEDS REPLACED. This is a common 350 Chevy 5.7 liter engine. Any 350 engine from a Chevy truck/van from 1996 to 2002 will interchange with this one. The point being that it is easy to find a replacement engine for this vehicle. The van has approximately 155,000 miles on it. This van will need towed. In case you missed it the first time, it does not start. You cannot drive it. You will need to have it towed to your destination. Interior: The van has four leather captains chairs. The rear seat is missing. You can buy a rear seat for $100 at a junkyard. The van has power seats, cruise, tilt, PW, PDL, CD player, leather interior, multiple TV's, a VCR, headphones, rear heat/AC, etc. Exterior: The body does not have any rust. The paint is shiny. The paint isn't faded or peeling off. I did not see a single dent/ding in the body. All pictures show the current condition of this vehicle. Maintenance: I have a folder with many thousands of dollars worth of repairs performed by the Don Wood of Athens Dealership. I have the original invoice when this van was new. I have the owners manual, service records, etc. Pictures: The pictures of this van were taken today--Sunday 12-18-2011 at approximately 4:30 pm. The pictures show exactly what you are buying. Value: KBB lists the private party value of this van @ over $6000 in good condition. I understand that the van isn't worth that at the moment because it needs engine work. It is however certainly worth more than what I'm selling it for. Fix the engine and this van would be considered in good to excellent condition.
