ConditionThis vehicle was little used and is in overall excellent shape and feels and runs like new. My wife only used it occasionally to park at the ferry to NYC and it has some scratches and a couple of dings from that. None of it looks like anything a good detailing couldn't take care of and I've included pictures of all of it. The car is due to be turned in on the lease next month and the vehicle inspection was performed yesterday by SGS on behalf of Volkswagen Credit. I am to be changed 193.50 for one long scratch on the left rear door panel, which looks like the white paint off of another car and can be rubbed out. Additionally these are the specifics of the inspection are in the photo of the report I have as part of this listing. FeaturesThe car is fun to drive and surprisingly performs well considering it is a diesel. As far as mileage goes, I once did an experiment and drive 150 or so miles to Atlantic City door to door, averaging 55 MPH highway. This car got over 50 MPG and that's amazing. HistoryI purchased the car new at Shrewsbury Volkswagen in NJ. ShippingI will not ship the vehicle but will assist if the car is to be picked up by a shipper arranged by the purchasing party. I will pay off Volkswagen Credit and have the title sent to you. Alternatively, if you are uncomfortable with that I can pay off the car and you can pick up car and title together when the title arrives, around 10 days. It appears they screwed up the radio and I had to order another one at an unfortunate $450. They suggested I get an aftermarket radio for much cheaper but I think people want a car that is only 3 years old to be completely stock. This has no adverse effect to the buyer but realize that the car will be at the dealer most or all of this week and will not be available to show.On Dec-22-11 at 14:34:40 PST, seller added the following information: I had my dealer install a new radio and guess what...no am. They broke the am reception in the first place and then broke the entire radio trying to fix the am problem and then charged me 450 for a new radio. Now they clearly do not want to do the right thing and fix this for me and he is saying it could be cost me a couple more hundred if they "get into it". At this point I have no confidence in this dealer and I'm picking up the car and selling it as is. I will reimburse repair to the am antenna up to $200 to the winning bidder.
