You are bidding on a classic 1982 MERCEDES 300TD (turbo diesel) station wagon. This wonderful car served as a family vehicle for years and was well-loved. This car will require quite a bit of work if your intention is to fully restore it but if you are a Mercedes enthusiast and into car restoration, this is the car for you. This would be an outstanding bio-diesel project car. Otherwise, it is great vehicle if you have a project car already going as most of the interior, engine, transmission, drive train and other parts are in relatively good condition. I don't believe the engine will need much to get running perfectly again. It has been parked for two years after the rear main seal let go and the engine started making tapping noises. Most of the interior leather, etc., is in good repair and only needs a good cleaning. Regretfully, at the time this happened, we needed to get into a new vehicle quickly.
