Vehicle Detail
This is the start of your dream car. Just add body panels, a little sheet metal, Hemi engine, or better yet a Viper engine and drivetrain, throw in a little labor of love and a few friends and you've got your dream car in any color you like. I bought this a few weeks ago to fix up for my 17 year old son, but he settled on a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee I bought last week. Ah......I remember my teenage years and my dream car was a 1964 Impala SS. The dream came true, but so did leaving the road, jumping a concrete embankment, and finding a telephone pole broke in half with the corner of the left hood starring me in the face. But I digress! The car seems to have good bones, but needs some love. Looks like someone put 1972? front fenders on the car. The car was last on the road and licensed in 2008 according to the plates, and according to the DMV when I transferred the car into my name. I have a clear title in hand. I purchased the car from a gentleman that transferred the title on 9/15/09. He never put it on the road, but bought for his now 13 year old son. According to him, he is the second owner of the car and said the engine ran when he purchased it. I have not tried to start the car, but I'm going to this weekend and will report the progress. Although, as you can see, the radiator has a clean, clear antifreeze mixture. Couldn't open trunk, so took pic from inside. The previous owner said the 318 is the original motor. The vin # is BH23G0B276453. Also, part of the build sheet is intact, attached to the rear seat springs, although some of it is missing. Needs complete interior restoration, at least the frames and springs to the seats can be used. The following is a list of known good parts that are expensive: 1. The Grille intact center with no known visible cracks, missing each end that goes around headlights. 2. All glass appears to be good. 3. Original wheels seem to be in great shape. 4. Rear tail light panel looks pretty good. 5. Console looks really good. 6. Hood looks great. I don't know anything about the car other than what you can see. I tried to take a lot of pics. What you see is what you get. I'm not trying to get rich, just get my money back. I'll add some more pics this weekend. GOOD LUCK AND GET YOUR DREAM CAR ON THE CHEAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I REQUIRE A $1000.00 IMMEDIATE NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT VIA PAYPAL WITHIN 24 HOURS AFTER THE AUCTION CLOSES, AND THE BALANCE TO BE PAID WITHIN 7 DAYS. ALSO, THE CAR NEEDS TO BE PICKED UP WITHIN 7 DAYS AFTER THE AUCTION CLOSES, OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED $100.00 PER DAY. I DON'T WANT TO BE MEAN........BUT, DON'T WASTE MY TIME WITH STUPID QUESTIONS, I'M A SINGLE PARENT AND I'M BUSY AND SO ARE MOST PEOPLE. I'm easy to get along with, but don't have time for B.S. ***But if you have legitiment questions, fire away, and I'll try to answer them if I can. Don't bid if you don't have immediate funds, as I will keep you from EVER using ebay again. This is not rocket science. Only bid if you intend to purchase the car. Don't bid if you have less than 10 feedback. If you really want the car and don't have at least 10 feedback, call me, if we can come to an agreed purchase price, bring me cash BEFORE the auction is over and the car is yours. This is a GREAT deal for someone, I just purchased my son the Grande Cherokee. FOR SALE LOCALLY****** I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END AUCTION AT ANY TIME.******** Contact: Andy Taylor Phone/text: 502 457-6548 Leave number and I'll return call if I don't answer. Email: AT117@aol.com This is being relisted due to the fact that when I changed the format on the previous listing to an auction starting at $1.00 and adding a reserve price Saturday morning, EBAY deleted my photos and the sight wouldn't allow me to add back the pics. Two of EBAY's finest from a land far, far, away said they do not know what happened. SO........I'm relisting. On Dec-18-11 at 12:39:50 PST, seller added the following information: ******************************************************* ******************************************************* USE THE BUY IT NOW PURCHASE AND I WILL INSTALL A NEW SET OF BF GOODRICH T/A RADIALS ON THE CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!On Dec-20-11 at 19:04:45 PST, seller added the following information: I didn't get a chance to try and start the car this past weekend as my master technician friend couldn't make it and I'm not a mechanic. I did check and see that the cooling fan blade moves freely and the transmission fluid is clear pink, along with the light green coolant makes me think the engine will start after checking it over and replacing the battery. Although, Sunday a guy from Nashville came up to look at the car and said just with the above mentioned known good parts, the car is worth upwards of $5K. I lowered the reserve, so you're almost there. I'm ready to sell the car and use the money to fix up my son's jeep the way he wants it. So, all you 4,900+ viewers get bidding and get a good deal on this project.
