Vehicle Detail

Runs and drives, I recently drove it to and from a cruise-in located about an hour away from my residence. Three things are attributable to the only issue I've noticed, which is that it seems to want to stall out if you try to floor the gas pedal. I have yet to actually stall it, but it sounds like it's going to before you let off the pedal. The problem gets less serious the faster the car is moving. First thing is that the kickdown gear lever that runs to the transmission has been disconnected from the carburetor assembly. This was done before I bought it and I haven't had the opportunity to fix it yet. The second is that the choke in the carburetor is no longer attached to anything, so you have to move it by hand if you feel it needs adjusted. The third is that I believe it needs a new vacuum advance, which I have (and of course comes with the vehicle), but also have not replaced yet. Has: Clear title, 351 Windsor engine, automatic transmission, new front tires (put them on about 3 months ago, and they've only got about 100 miles on them), new fuel pump, new fuel filter, new windshield wipers, new Edelbrock air filter. Also have new vacuum advance but it needs installed. Needs: A/C compressor needs replaced, front shocks getting soft, some rust holes in the trunk over the wheels, needs better quality paint job and new headliner, and the vacuum headlight covers only come down halfway. Has a radio, however, it needs to be hooked back up. Driver and Passenger seats need re-upholstered. Some rust bubble spots under the paint near the bottom corners of the doors, nothing too serious. I tried to capture these in my pictures but they may not be apparent. I can take better pictures if you need me to. Finally, I believe that the roof may need to be replaced. While this is not apparent by looking at the metal from the inside, it feels very rough underneath of the vinyl covering. If you have any questions at all, please shoot me an email. I'll be more than happy to get you the information you need. On Dec-21-11 at 01:41:36 PST, seller added the following information: ATTENTION: IT HAS RECENTLY COME TO MY ATTENTION THAT THIS VEHICLE IS IN FACT NOT A TRUE FACTORY XR-7 WHEN THE VIN IS DECODED, BUT RATHER A STANDARD HARDTOP. I APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS MAY HAVE CAUSED. FOR MORE INFORMATION, SEE THE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS SECTION OF THIS LISTING AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE. THANK YOU!
