This is a mechanically updated red and white 1956 Oldsmobile Super 88 hardtop. It is cosmetically original except for an older repaint of the red exterior. Thousands invested in recent installation by a noted Indy hot rod builder of a 350cid Chevrolet engine with Edelbrock intake and carburetor, a new aluminum radiator, electrical cooling fan, three-speed transmission and dual exhausts. Brakes and tires are nearly new. Seats look to be original. Carpet is newer. Top surfaces of front and rear bumpers show some rust, but most other bright metal just needs TLC. No serious wear inside except for door panels. The right side wing glass has a small crack, as does the right side stop light. Spinner hubcaps all around are original. There's even a spotlight. Actual mileage is unknown. This sweetheart is 99 percent ready for your first cruise of 2012. It is on site and available for inspection at the Kramer Motor Co., Shelbyville IN.
