1936 1408 Packard Limousine For consideration is this 1936 1408 Packard Limousine. This is a no reserve auction! The car is VERY solid and has no rust. The fourteenth series was the last series to have the straight axle, ride control, the bijur system, and the heavy vibration dampening bumpers. This is a 12 cylinder Packard. The 12 used a double row of hood louvers. It has a 144” wheel base also. As you can see, the right front fender is bent some. The engine has been rebuilt and just needs to be put back together. It has new pistons and the cylinder hole size is 30. You might consider replacing the wood at the bottom of the doors as it seems a little soft in that area. The body wood sills are like new. I have taken some pictures of the parts that go with the car. There are also some parts inside of the car (some of which go on another car I own and will be removed before shipment takes place). Any parts that I have for this car will go with it. The grill was removed and has been stored in my shop (see pictures of it below). I will provide the winning bidder with a bill of sale at pickup. I will need your email address if you are requesting additional pictures. Most of the glass on this car is still in great condition. The windshield and rear window are great. I will allow up to 60 days for pick up on the car. If you are going to need additional time to pick up this vehicle, please let me know before bidding. Also, if you are going to have the car shipped and need a good shipping company then call National Transport LLC at 1-800-665-5022. I have used them in the past and they are dependable. They can ship it to your door with full insurance coverage on an open or closed trailer. When you call they will need to know your location and if the car runs or not. Also, be sure to tell them it is shipping out from Chattanooga, TN. Condition of Sell This vehicle is sold with no warranty. It is sold “as is” “where is” and all sales are final.
