Here for your consideration is a 1978 Mustang King Cobra. These cars have gotten very hard to find and, in my opinion, are great investment cars for the money they are commanding at this time. The King Cobra option was the most expensive Mustang option since the 1970 Boss 429. Only five thousand of the King Cobras were built. This car is an original white car with white interior and 4-speed transmission. This car runs and drives well. The previous owner installed an Edelbrock intake and carb. A Cobra air cleaner and headers were also installed at that time. I have a transferable Maine registration with the car. There are a lot of receipts for money spent on the car through the years as well as extensive ownership history. The bucktag is a critical item on these cars to prove they are genuine King Cobras, and the tag is still on this one. The odometer is showing 14000 miles. I assume that is 114000. All of the interior is original except the carpet. It should be black, not blue. This was not my doing. The driver's seat has some seams that have come unsewn as visible in the pictures. The spot on the passenger's seat is a flaw in the vinyl and will not clean off. The car has a great sounding side exiting exhaust. This is not a show car, but rather a very nice driver/cruise-in quality car. Don't let this rare car get away. This car is sold as is since it is a 33 year old vehicle.
