Vehicle Detail
1973 Camaro This car was the car that I bought after I graduated high school. I bought it with a wrecked fender and nose. I replaced both parts with replacement OEM parts from goodmark industries. Rebuilt the top half of the motor with fuely heads and edelbrock intake and carb. Put in a new cam and checked the block for any marks and it was clean. I parked the car 4 years ago when I went off to college and now I am going to college again. The condition of the vehicle has gotten worse because of water and sun damage but it is still very clean and has very minimal rust. The back quarters have the cancer starting to come through like all the older camaros do and the rear valance needs to be replaces as well. It has not been started in 2 years but when I parked it 4 summers ago I had taken it to the track and ran a 13.9 quarter mile. Pretty good for my first time ever. It has Crager SS 15x7 inch wheels with some old bfg's. The car is straight and was a smooth ride. Would be great for someone who wants a great base to start a rebuild project or just wants to do some minimal clean ups to and make a daily rod. On Dec-11-11 at 14:16:55 PST, seller added the following information: 1973 Camaro I bought the car with a wrecked driver side fende and nose. I replaced both of them with replacemento OEM parts from goodmark industries. The Drive train is a 350ci engine with the top half rebuilt with fuely heads and edelbrock intake and carb. I also checked on all of the cylinders and replaced the cam shaft wih a more aggressive one. I put some rather simple headers on there too. The tranny is a pretty simple 3 speed automatic tranny. It has post 3.23 gears in the a 10 bolt rear end, very solid and the tires spin very nicely. I ran a 13.9 second quarter mile my first and only time taking it to the track so it is fast. The car has been parked for over 4 years and has been getting some weathering on it from the sun and rain. The only real body work that needs to be done on it is the rear quarters have the normal cancer coming through right behind the wheels and I have pics of that. The rear valance also has a dent in it and would need to be replaced as well. The floor boards and trunk area have no rust but I have not been able to get into the trunk because the lock is falling out a little bit. The car is in good shape because I bought it from a guy who had rebuilt it. I spent the time to do the other upgrades to it but I have fallen out of time and money for the car. It would make a great christmas gift because with minimal work it could be up and running very nice, or you could use it as a great base for a massive rebuild to make a show car with. Happy bidding.
