The engine is a 350 that is dressed up to look like the original 283, New crate motor from GM still under warranty 1 year 100,000 mile warranty, new engine has 1,309 miles on it. Transmission just rebuilt this month. Here is a short list of new items that were recently installed on the Impala, Radiator, radiator and heater hoses, battery, battery tray, carb, plugs, wires, cap, rotors, belt, exhaust with flowmasters, new balanced driveshaft with new joints and center carrier bearing, trans lines, brake lines, shocks, hood lip molding, redone interior, sill plates, door seals, door rubber bumpers, trunk seal, there is probably a ton of other items I'm forgetting. There is also a 4 way air ride suspension installed which is adjustable right from the driver's seat. Good for lowering it to the ground for car shows. 18 and 20" Chrome wheels with Z rated tires. All of the glass and trim is at least driver quality or better. Everything very nice, although there are a few minor improvements to be made to make it pristine. Slick paint job is chipping due to lack of shelter. 1/4 window frame needs work, and windshield wipers don"t work. Other than that you have one of the nicest old school cars you can own.
