The 4-door La Salle's V8 motor turns over freely and has a 3-speed transmission. The gas tank was removed when the car was parked (but the gas tank is still part of the car). The body is very straight and the doors do not sag. All of the upholstery is complete and the wood appears to be in good condition. The tires do hold air, the wood spoke wheels are in-tact and in good condition also. This car was a prized possession of my uncle's and it was his wish to see it go to someone who will enjoy it as much as he did. There is a free and clear Kansas title with the numbers matching. A very low reserve has been set. PLEASE NO ZERO BIDDERS.On Dec-14-11 at 09:28:39 PST, seller added the following information: EDIT - After doing some additional research on-line, we have discovered that the LaSalle pictured and described here is actually a 1927 model. 1927 LaSalles had: 1927 LaSalles had the engine number stamped on a plate inside the firewall (ours does). 1927 LaSalles engine numbers ranged from 200001 through 212000 (ours falls within) The style number of the body is 7380 (added to pictures) 12 louvers centered on the hood panels (our pictures show that) New Pictures have been added.
