Vehicle Detail
2000 Ford F-350 Super Duty V10 Truck 12' Rack Stake Body / Utility Tool Boxes 159,545 Miles Up for auction is a 2000 Ford F-350 V10 work truck. This truck has a 12 foot rack body with 4 locking tool boxes. It has a V10 Gas engine. It does not have a working AC, but the heat works great. It has dual rear wheels. It has an AM/FM stereo. It's V10 powerplant is powerful, runs strong, and can carry and transport quite a lot. The transmission shifts as expected with no signs of slipping, etc. The front brakes are about 50%. The rear brakes and both rotors were replaced this summer should still be well over 75% left. This truck has given us good service while we used it. It was primarily used for estate cleanouts & to transport and sell various household, and collectible/antique items to and from local auctions. Now we have 2 other trucks available in our fleet and it is time to "thin out the herd." We were able to register this truck in the state of CT as a Combination vehicle rather than Commercial only as its curb weight is under 12,000 Gross which we feel is a plus. All of the gates are removable which makes loading and unloading more convenient in situations where parking/loading is tight. This truck has some rust on the gates and on the tool boxes in the bed. Two of the boxes are no longer watertight due to the rust (see photos). One of them is quite rusty at the hinge point but it still opens and closes OK. Also two of the boxes need their latches to be adjusted to close fully. They latch shut but stay open about 1/2" as seems to happen sometimes with these kind of boxes. On the dashboard, there is a crack in the clear plastic above the gauges. The bench seat has a small split on the driver's side all the way by the door. There are also some light scratches here and there throughout as it is a work truck. It has never been wrecked. As far as the tires, the drivers side tire is well worn and will need to be replaced eventually. The others still have usuable tread. This truck is ready to work. It has a clean title which is in hand and all set to transfer to the new owner. Please feel free to contact us with any questions prior to bidding. Serious bidders only please. We do not offer delivery on this truck and pickup/transport will need to be arranged by the buyer. At auction end, we will email the high bidder with our telephone contact information and will expect a call to discuss final payment and pickup. A deposit of $1000, as specified, is required within 48 hours of auction end and full payment is due no more than 7 calender days later at pickup in the form of cash or certified funds. Thanks for looking and good luck!!
