The top needs some work on the back. There is a section where the stitching has come apart. Also the transmission is in need of repair or replacement. You don’t notice this issue until you have driven it for a few miles. There are also some flaws with the paint on the front hood. Please expect to tow or trailor this vehicle home. With the black on black on cream it is a nice combination. Exterior: The exterior of this VW looks really good. The paint of this convertible still has quite a bit of shine and luster to it. There are lower body moldings t o give it a nice touch. The tires are in great condition. The 2 rear ones are almost brand new Michelins. The alloy wheels are in good condition with some minor curb chew. The front of this Cabrio is black. There is also a front license plate bracket for those states that need it. You also get lower fog lights. The rear has style as well. The brake light is mounted on the integrated spoiler for an awesome sporty look. Overall, this Cabrio is a looker. There are some scratches just behind the driver door, on the driver corner of the front bumper, some scuffs on the passenger side and driver side. There is fading on the door handles. With some TLC it could be quite the car for a loved one!! Interior: The interior of this Cabrio is an awesome color. The light cream colored seating surfaces paired with the black dash and trim color really sets it off. The front seats are multi point adjustable with only normal wear and tear. They also have easy entry on the sides for the rear passengers to get in and out more smoothly. There is what I would consider slightly more than normal wear on the driver seat (including stress folds and nicks). The rest of the upholstery shows some typical wear for a vehicle with this age and miles. Overall, the seating surfaces, except for the driver seat, are in slightly better condition than I would normally expect. The rear seat can accommodate 2 more adults. If you need more room back here the seats can fold forward to customize more cargo area. There are also cup holders back here. The padded arm rests make the rear riders more comfortable The steering wheel shows some very minor wear. The gauge panel has all of the standard gauges with a digital odometer and clock. The gauges also have white backs, again giving a sporty look to this Cabrio. There is an aftermarket CD changer with removable face and remote. The changer is located in the back in the trunk. The climate control works just fine. There is also a lighter element here, great for charging cell phones. The power door locks and window controls are here as well. Just below the center console, you have a storage area, 2 built in cup holders, and the gear shifter. There is also a coin slot area and a small armrest storage. The trunk is actually pretty big. Especially with the ability to fold down the back seat. Overall the interior condition is better than what I would normally see in a 1999 vehicle with these miles. The floor mat on the driver side is obviously worn and there are a few other small areas showing wear (ie, on the gear shifter), however, they are all normal. For a 1999 convertible with these miles, I would expect more signs of wear, for example smell and broken pieces of trim. This could be a fabulous vehicle with some cosmetic and mechanical love! As a dealer, you never have to wait to legally drive and register your car. Even if there is a bank payoff or title, we can facilitate an easy exchange and provide any necessary temporary tags and accompanying paperwork so you can drive away at the time of pick up. (Please note, not all cars qualify for temporary tags if we have the original title at time of transfer. 4. Safety! As a business, you have the added security and confidence that your safety is maintained at the time of pick up.
