1988 Mercedes 420 SEL Body is very solid. No rust in evidence. No dents or major scratches or blemishes. Interior is likewise in excellent shape. There is some slight cracking on the leather of the driver's seat. This is due to normal wear, and not abuse. Tires have appx 3/4 tread remaining. 215/60/15. Have all the books and manuals for the car (factory stuff). Car ran great, but did have some steam in the exhaust. It would start fine in warm weather or if the engine was warm, but after cooling off all night, it was difficult to get started in the morning. Mechanic said it needed a crank sensor. Dad started to change it and the wire came out of the sensor, so he just left it as it was. He does have a new sensor that will be included in the sale. There is no oil in the radiator nor antifreeze in the oil. Selling this car to help with mother's medical expenses. Please see the pictures for more details on physical condition.
