Vehicle Detail
This thing is awesome and definitely draws attention everywhere it goes. Kids of all ages love it and is It is a blast to drive in parades or just up to the local hang out for ice cream. It is a 1955 Jeep CJ5, four cyl, 3spd, all stock running gear. It runs and drives good and has almost new tires on it and the motor was rebuilt about five years ago. I can’t say how many miles it has been driven since then but not much. It has a replica M1919 .30 cal machine gun in the back with ammo belt hanging down, a grenade on the dash, and an anti tank gun to tow behind it. Yes, it comes with the anti tank gun. It also has a flag pole with an American flag to fly off the rear and has a place on the other side for another flag. I was going to get a POW/MIA flag for the other side but never got around to it. Not pictured is a belt of machine gun rounds hanging out of the machine gun which makes it look even more awesome. E-mail me and I’ll send you more pics. The Bad: The speedo does not work. The brake lights and turn signals don’t work but then as far as I know hand signals are still legal in all 50 states so I generally don’t worry about that. The gas gauge on the dash does not work but then again none of them do so it has a stick to measure the gas which is what they used back then anyway as the gauges even when new were unreliable at best. The brakes work but need to be bled which I have not had the time to do lately. All in all this is a nice Jeep, the body was in good shape before I painted it and it is drivable like it is. I drove it in several parades this year. It always starts right up although it does not like cold weather which is indicative of Jeeps. It just needs to warm up a bit when cold then it is fine. I do not want to get rid of this Jeep and gun but am having financial trouble which forces me to sell this one of a kind treasure. I sincerely hope that it goes to a good home and someone who will use it as I have to honor all of the veterans who have made such a sacrifice to keep us all free. God bless and good luck bidding. If you have any questions or want more pics, please don’t hesitate to ask and I’ll try to confuse you as much as possible. This vehicle will be sold with a signed and notorized “BILL OF SALE” which should be legal for you to obtain a title and registration in your state. Both the Jeep and the gun will fit nicely on a 16ft utility trailer. *BOTH GUNS ARE REPLICAS AND NOT REAL.* * THEY DO NOT NOR HAVE THEY EVER BEEN CAPABLE OF FIRING ANY PROJECTILE*
