Purchased by a Florida collector in 2010, you would be hard pressed to find an nicer example of this rare Mach 1 model. Restored to match the Marti report with no changes, this combination of the most desirable options and color combination make it a special car. The Marti Report confirms the equipment and color combination of the car. Fantastic, show quality Raven Black paint, new deluxe Black and Silver bucket seats, and new Silver Mach 1 striping and spoiler. Marti Report confirms 429 CJ Ram Air and Factory A/C The car is equipped with the correct 429 J code Cobra Jet, Ram Air V-8 engine, rebuilt factory Cruise-O-Matic transmission and 3.25 axle ratio. The seller has the original block but it was cracked in two places. The original engine was replaced with an engine built to factory specs as described below: Ford Factory Pack Crate Block manufactured in 1971. It was un-crated from the factory wrap upon installation, so in other words, the car has a new properly date coded 1971 429 engine !!! Ice cold factory air conditioning Body was rotisserie restored and only metal used to patch the minor rust. No accident damage or rust ... the underside is as nice as the top !!!
