Up for auction is my 1994 Land Rover Discovery that I have owned for 3 years. I drove it everyday up until a few months ago when I parked because it needed to be repaired, now I just want to sell it. It runs ok, needs work, and is being sold strictly in "AS IS" condition... This is what I know about this vehicle, it had just about every possible option when it was new. 2-Moon-roofs (both worked up until a month before I parked it, the front one stopped, don't know if its minor or the motor), it has folding jump seats in the back , rear ladder, full-size mounted spare tire, roof racks, brush bar, Power windows, dual heat and ac,Am-Fm Cassette and CD player under drivers side seat. (sounds good) Power Door locks, Power Steering, Tilt-wheel,Dual Air Bags, Towing Pkg., Original phone (included) Cruise Control and Premium Wheels. It had side-boards but I live by the beech and they started to rust so I had them cut off. I'm pretty sure the tan interior is vinyl, the driver side is worn, as shown in picture, the head liner is also coming down....I purchased glue to fix it and never did. The middle and rear seats are in very good condition, no rips. The tires have seen better days. It has a clear title however, I was told that an elderly woman was a previous owner and accidentally put 200,000 miles for 20,000 when she sold it...It had around 110,000 when I bought it and I have the original DMV inspection report that shows it passed the first time I took it through and the odometer read 112,765 miles at that time (6/23/2009) I had owned it a few months. It was a mistake,but NJ-Dept. of Motor Vehicles will not reduce the milage on the title, Im sure its nothing more than human error. In regard to the repairs, it needs a valve, the power steering and brake fluid are leaking. I had the brakes done last September & the reciept, (the car has been sitting since June 2011) I was told the repair would run about $300. Since it has been sitting, I need to jump it to start it however it consistently starts right up. It will need tires. The 4-Wheel drive has been great over the past 3 snowy winters at the Jersey Shore...never stuck!!! The exhaust may need some work. I have the receipts for the work I put into the truck over the past 3 years (approx. $1,500) The body is in decent shape overall...(a little rust) It needs to be compounded.
