up for your bids is my 1972 chrysler imperial,it has spent the last 20 years in a heated garage except for being driven 5-6 times a year. i talked to the guy i got it from and he told me he bought it 20 years ago with 65000 miles and a locked up motor from sitting 9 years without being started because the guy he got it from was getting up there in years and couldnt drive anymore,and when he moved to the senior housing he couldnt keep the car there. So he bought it from him and had the engine rebuilt thats the story. Now about the car,interior is near mint no holes in seat or rot,amazingly the headliner,dash and carpet,which usually go first are all great.tThe motor has 4658 miles since complete tear down and rebuild,and it runs and sounds great,somewhere in its life it had some paint work done to the passengers door and rear quarter,which will need a good buffing to make it match a little better,the only rust is a small spot behind drivers rear tire and under vynle top under backglass not bad and it is not leaking inside the trunk thats all no rust anywhere else,this car is 40 years old and has a few dings and scratchs as does any 40 year old original. the car will need a gas tank and sending unit,it sat for sometime with a high ethonal content of fuel in the tank and ate it up,i have been driving it to parades and cruise ins off a tank in trunk,tank and sening unit 400.00 here on ebay. i have clean title,the original book that came in the glovebox,even the original dealership window sticker,havent looked for build sheet but im sure its there,have i mentioned its a 2-door,only 2300 2-doors made in 1972. u could drive this car home if u dont mind stopping for fuel quit often as 5 gallons at a time doesnt go far. if u have any questions give me a call im not on computer much 319-520-8225 i live in wyaconda,mo. 63474 is zip code if u need to use mapquest thanks and happy bidding the car is listed for sale at home so i could end auction at any time,when my reserve is met or buy it now it will sell on ebay only so dont wait till last min to bid u might lose this wonderful car. god bless
