This is a 1979 BMW R65 In Bronco Brown Metallic. It Runs strong and everything works mechanically on it. Lights, Speedometer turn signals etc. It has Chrome exhaust pipes and is a very cool old bike. I purchased this in July in hopes of doing this as a full restoration project but have decided that I might leave that for someone else. The only visible damage is the seat is torn across the rear seam which is not too bad for it's age. Bikes of this vintage have 5 times the mileage on them and run and run. I found the original seat on e-bay for $112 and an aftermarket for $39 so that would be the only cosmetic thing besides some wax and it would look decent. If someone wanted to take this down and really do it it would be worth 4 to 5k judging by the others I have seen. Thanks for looking.
