This 1956 Lincoln Continental Mark II was disassembled for restoration the body was repainted and interior was removed and was never reassembled and the car was put back in storage for over 20 years. I am helping a friend sell this car, its owned by her father. When I first went to see the car I was concerned about how solid the frame, body, floorpans, trunk and suspension was. I was shocked to see everything was solid and complete. Also the body is straight and in fantastic condition. The Interior has many excellent original components but I would say this is where the condition is very average at best, but interiors can be reupholstered and is the most replaceable part of any older restoration. This Lincoln came with a 368 V-8 engine and an automatic transmission, as you can see by the pictures it needs to be rebuilt also. This is the correct engine for this car. I will try to answer any questions you may have. I also will post any information that buyers/readers might send my way. I tried to look up information with the data tag (see pictures) but could not find much online. Again this is a very nice solid restoration project for anyone that’s looking for a strong foundation to start with and there are many many high quality factory original components for this car.
