1978 Pontiac Trans Am. This is an original starlight black car with black interior. This was a California car until recently, therefore the rust was minimal on the body. It has just been stripped and refinished with base/clear urethane paint. This is a driver/cruise-in grade paint job. The interior is new throughout to include headliner, package tray, carpet, door panels, seat buns, seat covers, and other misc. interior parts. The dashpad is the original and is in nice shape. There is no radio in the car at this time. This car was eqipped with factory A/C, but there are parts of it missing at this time. I do have the compressor and brackets with the car as well as the hoses. The engine runs very well and supposedly was rebuilt 1200 miles ago, but I have no paperwork to document that. Since I have owned the car, the brakes have been gone through, carb rebuilt, transmission rebuilt, new heater core installed, and generally made dependable and roadworthy. This is a great entry level collectible car that is well worth the investment of time to take it to the next level. things like completing the A/C and detailing the engine will make this a better investment than you can make on Wallstreet. This car drives well, doesn't overheat, and gets a lot of attention wherever it goes. I am selling this car as is because of it's age and I will end the auction if the car sells locally $8500.00.
