1970 Pontiac Firebird - 350 2V, TH350, power steering and brakes, AC This car starts and runs well, drives down the road fine, but I would consider it a "needs restoration" project vehicle. The body is suffering from several areas of rust through and has had two previous repaints done. The areas not suffering from rust do look good and the car is a decent "30 footer". The interior is rough and really is in need of a complete re-do. It is, however, in drivable condition as it sits and was taken out for a stroll around town two weekends ago. The car was purchased in 1977 from its original owner and has belonged to the gentleman that I'm selling it for ever since. All parts are original except for the transmission. It was exchanged for a rebuild at some point. We are happy to provide any information necessary to help with pick up or shipping arrangements and will deliver the car to a shipping point anywhere in Mesa County, Colorado. On Nov-28-11 at 19:30:28 PST, seller added the following information: Update 11/28/11: I actually took the car for a drive on Sunday. Steering is good, it doesn't wander and the steering wheel doesn't have excessive play. The brakes are good, with smooth and controlled stops, and no pull to one side or the other. The transmission feels like it shifts up and down just fine. The motor feels like it runs fine, but there is a sound like a slight miss in the exhaust note. Please remember that this is a 41 year old car with its share of miles on it. The car is sold as-is, where-is. So if you have questions, ask now. Also, please note that as stated above, this is not my car. It belongs to a very close friend who is not an ebay user. That said, I stand behind everything stated in this auction.
