Up for sale is a 57 year old classic. This 1954 Chevy Pickup has undergone numerous repairs and upgrades over the past nine months. The truck is equipped with a freshly rebuilt 261- 6 cylinder engine with a rebuilt 3 on the tree manual transmission. Along with rebuilds on the motor and tranny, I have also replaced the following items: New battery and cables. New water pump. New speedo head. Re-built starter.New heater box,core,motor and hoses. New radiator. New wiring harness. Some new wiring under the dash. New rear pinon seal. New flasher and turn signal switch. (the turn signal arm clicks back to the off position after you complete your turn.) All four drums have been turned. All four wheel seals have been replaced.New clutch and pressure plate.New fuel pump.New engine mounts.New thermostat.New plugs and wires.New V-Belt. Changed over windshield wipers from vacuum to electric 6-volt motor. New windshield arms and wipers.Both doors have new door latches.New fuel sending unit. New upholstered seats. New rubber floor mat and new door panels. I also have new door and window cranks. They will be included. The old ones work fine I just bought the new ones to dress it up a bit.New visor as well. The tires were replaced in Nov. 2010 and have less then 800 miles on them. All gauges work as do all dash lights. The glass is good condition with no cracks or pits. The windows roll up and down with ease. The cowl vent is functional and has a new seal. The horn blows nice and loud like a old chevy truck should. I believe I have listed all the stuff that has been done to the truck. I have roughly $4500 in repairs and upgrades in the truck. The interior and mechanics are perfect. The body is straight and is a 20 footer. It will need a re-paint. The paint is decent and just needs a brightening up. It is dull and with a good wax job, who knows, it might look pretty good. The bed floor is fair. It's wood. It's not rotten and none of the boards are loose or missing. It could probably be sanded down and stained. The truck is turn key ready. it has a clear title and is just waiting for a new owner to continue it's drive down the road. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and a $1000 deposit will be due within 48 hours of the auction ending. The remaining balance is due in 7 days. I accept paypal, money orders, cashier checks. I will accept personal checks but keep in mind that the funds will have to clear before truck is released to the buyer or shipping company of the buyer's choice.
