2000 JEEP WRANGER SAHARA 4WD - (2 - TOPS /// HARD TOP + BEST SOFT TOP)!!!!!!!!! I bought this in 2008 from a dealer with 80,000+ miles for my daughter her sophmore year of high school. She drove it about 10 miles a day to/from school (non-smoker). This vehicle new was $25,265.00 August 2010 I had the radiator flushed, tune-up, tires rotated, alignment and whole vehicle inspected for other necessary repairs....no leaks or problems. This is a very solid vehicle that runs great, recently passed MD emissions! Paint has minor flaws that you will see in the photos, nothing that a good detail shop couldn't take care of. You will see some surface rust on the undercarriage & tow package in the photos, I did not want to touch it up so you can see what you are buying. Some of the things to be aware of purchasing this vehicle:Tires have about 75% of the tread. I did not buy new tires because we were only driving short distances. Tire Rack.com has these tire sizes for $139 a tire. Doesn't need tires, but that is your call. I have been driving the Jeep from Hagerstown, MD to Bethesda, MD that past several days (135 round trip), and it runs and drives great. Spare tire tread is about 10% and will need to be replaced.A/C works great...Heat - not so well. There is heat, although when it is really cold it does not keep up with the defrost and heating the car. I had the radiator flushed to help, but it did not fix completely. I read this is common in jeeps and that you need to flush the radiator several times to get the heat working properly. Always warm though!The paint on the hood is showing some water spots, and minor scratches, should buff out just fine!I also have a BEST TOP -- SOFT TOP that I paid $571.00 for. We did not use it this summer at all. When we took the doors off during previous summers some of the paint on the bolts chipped off, and some scratches in the area around the hinges.The car was parked outside, and has surface rust under the chassis....Again, I did not want to touch it up....nothing a detail shop can't take care of. No rust on the body at all!NEW BATTERY LAST WINTER....HIGHEST CRANKING POWER!RADIO - The volume switch is loose but works, it makes it hard to adjust the volume, it sometimes gets very loud and hard to turn down.
