1927 Ford Model TT closed cab truck with a complete working Weaver auto crane and my Weaver collection. This is a rare opportunity to own a true piece of history! I'm selling it only because I don't have time to collect and work on vehicles any more. This is an original unrestored truck in amazing condition– I’m the second owner! I bought it from the original family out of Littleton, CO years ago. The truck was bought new in Chicago (dealers dash plaque still mounted to dash), then brought to the Colorado farm in the 1930's. Clear Colorado title in my name. Truck still has factory original paint in many places, green paint still in places on the metal portions of the wood bed, and the Weaver Auto Crane still retains much of its original green paint with gold lettering. Original yellow lettering on both sides of cab reads "For a square deal". Fully restored wheels with new tires-tubes-flaps, new top, new interior with new seat material that looks old. Universal under-direct-overdrive transmission. Jennings heavy-duty front springs and spring perches. Originally a grain bed truck (I have the rest of the bed side boards and back that go with the truck.) Also has a very unique steerable "Hoover" hitch mounted to the front axle and steering rod. This was used during the Great Depression so the truck could be pulled by a team of horses due to gas rationing - mechanism does not affect how it drives - rare piece - I have the tung. This truck is amazing just the way it is, it would be a shame to "restore" it. As the saying goes: you can restore a truck many times, but it's only original once. Kerosene lamps work, three road side kerosene flares and holder mounted to back of the cab with NOS 1920's fire extinguisher mounted inside the cab. Original engine runs nice. Aftermarket water pump, new plugs, new belt, new Texas-T distributor and coil, new head gasket, converted to fully rebuilt 1926 NH carb from the 1927 vaporizer carb (they don't work well at my altitude of 8500ft.) I have the original vaporizer carb that goes with the truck. All new electrical wiring with OEM style wire sets. The truck runs but needs transmission bands to be driven. I have a set of new Kevlar bands that will go with the truck. If interested I also have a set of new reproduction Rocky Mountain Brakes - not part of this auction. Weaver collection that goes with the truck – complete working auto crane (on the truck) - with correct hand crank- chain-and chain roller, Weaver twin screw jack, Weaver new-way model R steerable jack, Weaver Auto-ambulance with hard rubber tires (missing cradle and tow bar), Walker 1915 8 ton jack, three T and TT screw jacks, 1930 light duty bumper jack, 1920's chain hand crank come along, 20 or so original 1920's hand tools, collection of vintage road side reflectors, marble reflectors, framed Weaver ads, and many other neat items.
