Vehicle Detail
1974 VW Volkswagen 181 Thing! Absolutely beautiful show room condition. You will not find many nicer Things than this! Restored a few years ago and still looks amazing. Very well cared for and always garaged. Powered by a 2180 cc dual Kardon carb engine. Very fast and fun to drive. Nice shinny yellow paint inside and out. Perfect custom front seats, perfect rear seats, perfect bimini top with convertible frame, NO RUST on the body, brand new rear brakes, custom stereo, brand new wood duck floorboards, new carpet kit, etc. You truly must see and drive this THING to fully appreciate it. Just had the oil changed and it is ready for a new owner . Clean title. Willing to help accommodate any shipping needs. Also willing to possibly deliver depending on where you are located. For additional pictures please see my photobucket site @: http://s835.photobucket.com/albums/zz274/rbassmaster/1974%20THING/ I just had the car serviced and completed a engine compression test. The engine is in perfect condition. If you want, you can email me and I will provide you my mechanics number and you can get a second opinion from him. He owns a shop here in Chico and only works on Air Cooled VWs. Car comes from Nevada desert and has a clean Nevada title. Very dry car and the only rust area was under the battery were a previous owner fixed with a custom welded battery box for extra support. Could be cleaned up but effective. Other than that, floor boards and body are in great condition. The custom yellow paint is beautiful and looks better in person than pictures can show.
