Vehicle Detail
1970 BMW 2002 Very Stock, Clean, Rust Free, California Driver. This ca has not been restored, Modified, cut, or-in any way changed from the original. Maintenance when needed has been done. Since it is original it means the drive train, engine, rear end, transmission, carpets, headliner, door panels weather striping, Etc. are 41 years old. Not in anyway a hammered rattle trap, but not a show car either. Very Clean, Solid, Never Wrecked; Rust Free Body, Floors, Rocker Panels, Wheel wells, Shock Towers, Chrome, Etc. One Repaint the original color, the repaint was not very good. looks great from 8 feet, but up close not horrible but also not great. Original paint in wheel well, door jams, trunk, etc. $1,800 in brake work 6,000 miles ago Good tires, Glass, Trim. All Lights work, windows go up and down, no cracks. Runs drives, shifts well. Will need a clutch soon. Starts right up, have been driving it daily. Any Questions Please call Chris @ 707.529.3826 Odometer showing 35,500 miles. Assuming it is 135,000. But I really have no idea. I didn't get a whole lot of history with the car. On Nov-15-11 at 09:13:05 PST, seller added the following information:The VIN for the car is 1671418 and the engine has matching VIN. Also the sticker on the drivers wing window is a original California Highway Patrol sticker from the 70's. I remove bidders with 0 or negative feedback and assume they are a scam if seller is not contacted before bidding. On Nov-16-11 at 08:45:42 PST, seller added the following information:A bidder retracted his bids as has he found a car local. That's why some people might have noticed a slight price decrease. Thanks for your questions. Happy Bidding! Chris
