UP FOR SALE IS MY VERY NICE 1984 RANGER WITH A 350 CHEVY V8 SWAP. I AM THE 3RD OWNER OF THE TRUCK. AND ITS A TRUE 92,000 ORIGINAL MILE TRUCK. THE TRUCK IS VERY NICELY DONE. VERY CLEAN INSIDE AND OUT. AND THTRUCK HAS ALOT OF NEW PARTS. THIS TRUCK IS AN ABSOLUTE BLAST TO DRIVE. THE DRIVETRAIN IS VERY SWEET. DRIVING THE TRUCK, YOU WOULDNT KNOW IT DIDNT COME FACTORY THIS WAY. BELOW ARE ALL THE DETAILS LISTED. BUT TO SUM IT UP. THIS IS A VERY NICE STREET TRUCK THAT YOU CAN HOP IN AND DRIVE ANYWHERE. AND WILL GET YOU SOME LOOKS. EXTERIOR. The truck was re finished out in 2008 honda "milano red" This is a very nice dark cherry red that really sets the truck off nice. The body is very clean. There were a few tasteful mods done just to clean the truck up a little. The stake pocket holes in the bed rails were shaved. The side marker lights in the front fenders were welded closed and metal worked the smooth the fenders out. The big truck mirrors were removed and smaller mirrors from a newer ranger were put on. And some of the body seams were filled in. And a tubular grille was added. under the hood is just as nice. The back of the hood, fender edges, and core support were finished out in the body color. and the engine bay and engine were completely stripped. and painted using ppg base clear. It all looks very nice. The bed is in perfect shape and was painted with a hammer tone paint. This looks really nice against the red. And is very durable. The paint was wet sanded and polished and looks great. MECHANICAL. The engine is from a 1970 chevelle. The trans is a TH700R4 from a 90s camaro. this combination is very sweet. The motor is very silky smooth. Whisper quiet. Has awesome oil pressure. And never runs hot. The transmission shifts smooth and firm. The lockout is controlled by a switch on the dash so you can lock the overdrive when your cruising on the freeway. A list of the engine mods are -edelbrock double roller timing chain. edelbrock torker II intake. edlebrock 60 cfm electric carb. protronic hei distributor with an external coil. slightly ported heads with ported exhaust manifolds. the exhaust is a 2 1/4 true dual into 2 summit turbo mufflers and dual pipes out the back into 2 stainless steel 3 1/2 tips. the truck has a nice low mellow rumble to it. All in all this the perfect street truck that you can drive everyday, and take it to the shows. INTERIOR. The interior is very nice. The front seat is out of a 80s cutlass and fits great. Its a full vinyl seat with a flip down armrest. The carpet is newer and from AutoCustomCarpets. The whole interior from roof to floor has been dynamated. the truck has a pioneer stereo with jbl 6x9s and jbl 4's and sounds very nice. the door panels are handmade and very nice. the truck has a brand new dash cover from LMC truck. the gauges under the dash are from sunpro and monitor volts, temp, and oil. the steering whel is a grant wood wheel. the truck has a tilt steering column which is kinda rare for these trucks. the heat works great. the only thing that doesnt work is the speedometer. CHASSIS. All the brakes were just done. all new gabriel shocks all around. most of the brake lines are new. new brake booster. new engine and trans mounts. new axle seals and bearings. newer BF GOODRICH RADIAL T/A tires. old skool cragar s.s rims. the underneath of this truck is clean.
