Vehicle Detail
I am pleased to offer this 1970 Challenger. The car was originally a 318 but was later revamped with a 360 HP crate motor. I purchased the car on ebay in 2001 intending to restore it but never got around to it. This is a great project car. As can be seen in the photos, it needs a new paint job and interior, but it runs great. The only rust in the body is on the right fender, as shown in the photo. This is an as is sale with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. Ask all the questions you want, but please ask all your questions prior to bidding. If you want to see the car in person it can be arranged. Call 480-200-1569. On Nov-06-11 at 07:41:42 PST, seller added the following information: All 0 or less than 10 feedback will need to call before bidding or I will cancel their bids. On Nov-06-11 at 13:06:36 PST, seller added the following information: Someone sent me a message indicating the C in the VIN number means the car originally had a six cylinder engine, not a 318. This may or may not be the case as I have no idea for certain what the original motor size was.I reserve the right to put 30-50 miles over and above the listed odometer reading. I like to run the car at least once a week. On Nov-06-11 at 13:09:39 PST, seller added the following information: Other updates/answers to questions:The tachometer and the dashboard lights do not work.(My guess is it is simple wiring issues that could be easily fixed, but I don't know that.) All other gauges are in good working order. On Nov-07-11 at 08:25:45 PST, seller added the following information: There is also rust in the trunk, as shown in the photos I have added. This was a California car originally (see photos of California black plates, which will be included with the purchase of the car) until 2002 when I moved to Arizona. On Nov-08-11 at 21:19:22 PST, seller added the following information: Thanks to someone's help with research on the fender tag information, I have confirmed the original engine was a 318 V8, just as I suspected. On Nov-10-11 at 14:30:55 PST, seller added the following information: There is some rust in parts of the undercarriage as shown in the photos I have recently added.
