1968 Firebird 428 block 400 6x heads This Firebird was redone in 02 driven 2 months and hit a deer in the passenger rear lower quarter panel, its been sitting since (it gets started and driven around the block every other week) The car is in great shape other than the dent in quarter panel, I have a brand new front bumper in the box, needs drivers blinker housing (have 2 passengers), new front GM fender other original, chip on hood some little dents probable could be pulled out with suction cup. Will need wiper arms has the wrong ones on it, doors are starting to bubble the paint on the bottom, all glass the and trim there front windshield has a crack at the bottom. rear quarter were new in 02 (made in china), new rear bumper, undercarriage is near excellent there is a 3 by 3 spot that was cut out patch never welded in. The patch is still shiny. the trunk has a quarter size hole. Excellent frame rails and orignal floors. The 428 was done 30 over slightly mild cam (believe 5 something lift) edelb centrrock carb and intake, electric fuel pump, The tranny is a beef up 350 turbo with stall (cant remember exact speed) all new brake lines and brakes shoes, springs (have 2 extra drums) new exhaust front to back (used headers). Interior dash has a inch crack, gas gauge doesnt work right, seats are original could be stitched back together split on the seam, door panels are new except for the lower carpert, new headliner, carpet. center console in real good shape. steering wheel is junk. stock size tires (14;s) with 90% tread. The car could use a little TLC hood door windows realigned, could use different rear end gears for race stock 3.08 or left alone for everyday driver at 14 miles a gallon.
