Up for sale is my 1949 ford coupe project, Im burnt out on it and can't afford to keep going. the coupe comes with 2 clear titles since I did a frame swap on the car to put it back to the original drive train. first title is a clear title in my name for a 1949 ford coupe title matches vin of car. It is registered with historic 1949 WA plates. the 2nd title is for the donor frame included in sale. The good Flathead runs great, no smoke W/rebuild tag 'dont know when it was rebuilt 3speed trans with overdrive Mallory dual point distributor rebuilt water pumps aluminum 21 stud intake w/ single rebuilt 94. Converted to 12volts with GM 1 wire alternator New monroe shocks all around/ aero star springs in front as well as drop spindles. 4'' blocks in back, Car sits 4'' low all around. Spun aluminum gas tank, fuel pump, pressure regulator set at 2.5 Cherry bomb exhaust Radiator holds coolant, runs cool. Historic registration with 1949 plates Good wide whites on stock steelies. 195? Mercury steering wheel 150 louvers in the hood New brake master cylinder I just spent 2k on a parts car to get the running gear and frame that you see pictured, This car is a project and is As-is. It has been a on and off project for the last couple of years and has been driven here and there around town. I started to put a merc grille surround in the front as long as round out the hood though it is not finished. The work wasn't done by a pro but if you are good with metal or plan to add a new front clip go right ahead and bid. The chassis and engine/trans are in great shape but body still needs a ton of work and finishing. Im just burnt out. AS-IS, you can drive this car for a short period but plan on using a trailer.
