I was a scout master and used the vehicle on scout outings. My wife teaches school and she used it to commute to work. The reason we are selling the Suburban is my wife has retired. I purchased the vehicle with 12,000 miles on it. It has been a great vehicle for our family. When I started hauling scouts and camping gear I found that the vehicle had poor handling with a full load. I put an extra leaf spring in the vehicle and anti-sway bars, which improved the handling greatly. This vehicle is really a ¾ ton vehicle. The vehicle also has manual lock outs in the front. The Suburban has running boards and roof rack. The vehicle was garage kept when not in use. There is a crack in rear driver's side window. We kept up with maintenance on the Suburban and I believe everything works including the 4 wheel drive, air and heat, etc. I know that the entire drive train at one time or another has been replaced. It has a Jasper rebuilt engine in it, new transmission, differentials, universal joints, two new tires, and body work. This vintage of Suburban makes a great ice fishing and hunting vehicles I am sure that drive train will go another 60-70,000 miles. Because my wife drove this to school we kept up on the cosmetic body work. The inside is in good shape. The seats have no tears and the head liner is in very good condition. I am asking for non refundable deposit of $100 with in 24 hours of biding ending. I’ll try to be as fair as possible on the sale. If you are high bidder and come and test drive the Suburban and do not want it you do not have to buy it. I will offer it to the second highest bidder.
