This is a stunning laser straight rock solid Daytona Yellow Camaro still wearing its original factory sheet metal. No Chinese ill fitting panels here. Engine is a fresh built 396 with a mild but pleasently noticable cam. Carb is a new "Pro Form" 700 CFM with anodized billet metering blocks (Holley Style) bolted to a Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum intake. Engine is producing in excess of 400hp. All of this brute horse power is cooled thru a "Griffin" aluminum radiator with dual "Spal" electric fans mounted in custom built shrouds by "Griffin" for the package. The 4-speed transmission is rebuilt and the Hurst shifter and linkage was purchased new, all work nicely. The tranny is connected to a multi-leaf 10 bolt rear end with a 3:73 posi center section. Exhaust is supplied by Jet Coated "Hooker" Headers and 2.5" aluminized pipes run to Flomaster 40 Series mufflers. The exhaust dumps perfectly between the leaf springs and rear drop pans behind the rear wheels. Throttle response thru this set up is immeadiate and extremely responsive so be prepared to hold on! The engine is strong with no leaks what so ever or funny noises and unheard of smoking. Aproximeatly 600 miles have been put on the car since being restored. The interior has many new pieces including the following. New steel dash top panel,dash pad,dash cluster panel,electronic am/fm radio and Crossfire speakers (The engine is the real stereo!),ash tray,new carpet,seat skins front to back,door panels,complete new 4-speed console,rear package tray,weatherstrip kit,dome lamp assy., headliner and new correct double loop embroidered floor mats that are not pictured in the photos. The wheels are 15" X 8" chrome Rally type from "Wheel Vintiques" but you have a choice of these or the factory painted Rally wheels and trim rings that are new as well. You get one or the other unless you care to purchase the other set. Wheels are mounted to brand new BFG T/A Radials. Paint is BC/CC Diamont and is excellant and show quality. Body panels line up well and are straight. Belt midgs. are new and the car was painted in pieces. Bumpers and brackets are new, Grill is new, all exterior trim and emblems are fresh as well.
