1948 WILLYS OVERLAND JEEPSTER PHAETON CONVERTIBLE FOR SALE. BARN FIND...JEEPSTER HAS BEEN SITTING FOR OVER 20 YEARS AND IS IN GREAT SHAPE!! NEEDS RESTORATION. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A CLASSIC AND RARE JEEP TO RESTORE, THIS IS THE PERFECT CANIDATE. THIS IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE RUST BUCKET CONVERTIBLE I'VE SEEN OUT THERE. THIS JEEPSTER HAS LIVED ITS ENTIRE LIFE HERE IN THE DRY ARIZONA DESERT. IT WONT TAKE MUCH TO GET IT LOOKING NICE AGAIN, ITS COMPLETE, AND HAS ALL THE ORIGINAL SHEET METAL,WHICH IS IN GREAT SHAPE, NO DINGS OR DENTS. THE ORIGINAL TRIM IS ALL THERE AND IN GREAT SHAPE. THE ORIGINAL RIMS AND CHROME HUB CAPS ARE NOT ON THE VEHICLE BUT THEY ARE INCLUDED. IT HAS A SMALL AMOUNT OF RUST/ HOLE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR BOARD BEHIND THE FRONT SEAT AND ON THE REAR BACK SEAT. THE FRAME IS RUST FREE AND STRAIGHT. THE CONVERTIBLE RACK IS IN GREAT SHAPE, ITS NOT RUSTED, BUT IT HAS 2 SMALL CRACKS THAT WILL NEED TO BE WELDED BACK. JEEPSTER IS CURRENTLY NOT RUNNING BUT IT WAS RUNNING BEFORE IT WAS PARKED AND THE MOTOR TURNS OVER. MOTOR IS NOT THE ORIGINAL MOTOR, IT IS A STRAIGHT 4 CHEVY MOTOR, NOT SURE WHAT YEAR THE MOTOR IS. RARE....LESS THAN 11,000 OF THESE WERE PRODUCED IN 1948 AND ONLY 19132 WERE PRODUCED FROM 1948 -1950. NOT TOO MANY OF THESE LEFT. CLEAR ARIZONA TITLE ,NOTORIZED AND READY TO GO.
