We bought this VW Diesel Beetle in May 2004, it had around 45,000 miles on it when we bought it. My Wife bought a new car this year and I started driving the Beetle to work. My company just issued me a company vehicle, so the bug is for sale. This vehicle has had regular oil changes since we have owned it, we recently put 4 new tires on it, new brakes and rotors on all wheels, all the wheel bearings were replaced on the back axle, at 160,000 miles this beetle received its 2nd timing belt (first was replaced at 80,000 miles per the manual) new water pump and whatever else they replace in the timing belt kit rollers etc, a new battery, fuel filter and air filter were just done in the last 1000 miles. The windshield is cracked in the top drivers side corner and in the lower passenger side corner ( I tried to take pictures but cracks are hard to see. The paint has been keyed on the drivers side door and front fender (see picture), the center console is broken and does not stay up and the lid hinge is broken (lid comes off) The yellow seat belt light stays on, the drivers side foglight cover is broken (see picture) foglight bulbs are burnt out. The factory vehicle spare tire is brand new and has never been out of the trunk (see picture) plus I purchased a spare wheel and put a used tire on it (see picture) this extra spare comes with the car. As I said I have owned this vehicle since 2004, first I lived in Missouri and then I moved to Kentucky. It currently has a Kentucky title and I have a Lien release dated 03/14/2010. I like cash, but I will also accept a USPS Money Order. I am setting a low reserve on this (what the motor will sell for, and you get the whole car) This vehicle is used, has no warranty, but is still very dependable and I would not hesitate to drive it across the country. Depending on where you live, I will be going to Kansas for Thanksgiving and maybe we can work out some kind of delivery deal. Thanks for looking.
