I have a 1995 Lexus GS300 with the Toyota Chaser JZX100 engine ( 1JZ-GTE with VVTI Turbo). It is a fun car to drive. Exterior- All original body panels and paint. Paint is in great shape. Head lamps have been refinished and clear coated so they look great as well. Interior- Air conditioning works great. Interior could use seat cover's or seat swap with other seats. Driver's seat is cracked pretty bad. I've prices out katskin seat cover's and was quoted 900 and I've also wanted to swap in the 99 or newer GS300 seats. But used parts shouldn't be hard to find either for this car. Engine- Engine is from the JZX100 Chaser, which is the 1jz-gte VVTI with single turbo (this is how it comes in the chaser, and is rated at the same if not a little higher than the older 1jz-gte with twin turbo. Walboro fuel pump. Engine oil seals (valve covers, rear main seal, and front engine seals) were all changed before engine was put in and it does not burn oil or consume oil at all. Intercooler- front mount cooler with customer metal piping with exception of factory tube off of throttle body and turbo inlet. exhaust- 3inch down pipe and mid pipe which connects to factory mufflers. This makes it a sleeper, but adding a larger tail pipe would probably give it more power. I really have enjoyed the semi factory look so haven't been interested in changing the muffler. Brakes- front have slotted rotors I recieved with the chaser engine. Suspension- stock shocks and brand new Tanabe DF210 springs. Wheels- Factory hubcentric Lexus LS460 18 inch wheels. Look great and not many people will have this on a GS as the lug holes on the wheels have to be machined to fit. BONUS!! Passes Texas state inspection gas analizer. This engine apparently runs a lot cleaner than the old non-turbo 2jz-ge engine it used to have. Passed state inspection for the last two years since I swapped the engine. Other- I had a clutch pedal fabricated with an audi master cylinder under the dash, so if you plan to swap the automatic transmission out, the hardest part is done. I say hard because there is not much space to put a pedal or a clutch master cylinder. Conditions of sale- Vehicle is sold as is. I haven't had any problems with the swap in last two years since i did it. I would feel comfortable driving it any distance, so I would not have any concerns if you need to fly to Houston and drive it home. Pick up of vehicle is up to the buyer. I ask that it is picked up within one week after end of auction, or deposit will be kept and vehicle relisted. If you need more time email me.
