Gorgeous custom 2000 Jaguar S-Type 4.0 for sale. The car has a platinum exterior with cream leather interior and has only 24,xxx original miles. Loaded from the factory with every option: Navigation system, sunroof, 300-hp V8 engine, heated leather seats, power everything, dual airbags. 20" chrome Zinik wheels on low-profile Sumitomo 245/35 tires. $8,000 custom stereo system built in the trunk and doors featuring leather and fiberglass surrounding Phoenix Gold amps, Eclipse subs, tweets, and mids. Six-disc changer in the trunk and custom sub controls built into the drink holder. The whole stereo is hidden and in the trunk so that inside the car no one can tell, but they can hear you coming. Custom laser-cut Jaguar mirror on the inside top of the trunk. The whole trunk is lit up in the dark with a neon dark blue/purple color. The inside front carpets have been covered in plastic since the car was new and the floormats are sitting inside unused. The backseats have only been sat in twice in eleven years. Car comes with a custom Jaguar cover, four original tires and rims in excellent condition with only a few thousand miles on them, a black and silver laser-cut Jaguar front license plate, and all paperwork plus service records. Two things that need attention: (1) The car's cluster does not work right and needs to be replaced. This is responsible for the digital display on the dashboard. The car runs great and works just fine, but the cluster needs to be replaced for the display to work right. I live well over an hour from the Jaguar dealer and cannot get away from work to get it done. I have priced a used one at about $750 and the Jaguar dealership has estimated it at a $1600 job for a new one. I am willing to knock off the price for a new one from the car. I would love to get it done, but just can't get there. This was a common problem with the early S-Types, so the Jaguar dealers and mechanics know what it is and can take care of it once and for all with the replacement; and (2) The air conditioner feels weak and may need a new charge. I rarely use air conditioning (and with a car like this I always have the windows down), so I haven't bothered to get it charged. This is a small fix, but I am again willing to knock a couple hundred off the price to get it done. Knock these two fixes off the price, and I will listen to serious offers. This car is worth every penny you pay. This is a loaded first-year S-Type 4.0 and is sure to be a collector's item. You will get noticed in this car. It is at once powerful and beautiful, an exquisite Jaguar. The car runs and looks great, and I get compliments every time I go anywhere, even to run a quick errand.
