It is a 1976 Jeep cj5 v8 with the heavy duty 3 speed, solid body no rust thru, frame in good solid shape, The 304 v8, Has been sitting for a while, no power brakes or power steering,Windshield frame, dash, and fenders, are pretty much rust free,Has very nice custom fabricated steel tub, custom steel wheel fares, very solid, never will rust thru, Tub has been extendedabout 8" in the rear to add more storage space in the back, Whole tub is made of 3/16" plate steel, Not covering over the old tub, But this is a new custom made solid tub, Never will rust through,No holes anywhere in jeep , a couple of very minor spots of surface rust, If youdon't like the wheel flares you can allways put CJ or YJ plastic rear flares on the back and flat fender tube fenders on the front, That's what I was going to do, Jeep has the chrome rims and 32" tires on it now, that you see in the first few pics,Tires are nothing to brag about, but they do hold air, Has long tube headers on it with what looks like cheery bomp mufflers,Header are pretty rust and most likly will need to be replaced soon,4x4 works fine, Warn hubs, cj7 hard top has been custom cut to fit this extened jeep body to give it a cool hard top look,I DO NOT HAVE ANY OTHER TOPS OR DOORS FOR THE JEEP, JUST WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PICS,Comes with tow bar, tows behind truck very nice, Can come pick it up and tow it anywhere,NEW BATTERY IN PICS DOES NOT GO WITH THE JEEP, HAD TO TAKE IT OUT OF MY TRUCK, USE IT TO DRIVE UP ON TRAILER OR TOW JEEP HOME WITH TOW BAR, It has not been plated or drove on the road since 2004, it has been stored in doors pretty much all the time,Jeep was not used at all for the past couple of years, so we put a little work into it,CLEANED OUT FUEL TANK, HAD CARB REBUILT, NEW FUEL FILTER AND NEW SPARK PLUGS, STARTS RIGHT UP AND RUNS REALLY GOOD,NEEDS ONE NEW FRONT WHEEL CYLINDER FOR THE BRAKES, SHOULD HAVE THAT FIXED BY THIS WEEKEND, You can buy with full confidence, just check out our feedback.Feel free to email us with any questions you might have.We are not offering any international shipping with this item, Please do not bid,$500.00 deposit due at the end of the auction, Balance paid in cash, Would like to have jeep picked up within one week of the end of the auction, Thanks,On Oct-31-11 at 06:39:38 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been asked if this is a daily driver and can be put right on the road, I would not consider this Jeep a daily driver at this point, All though it is very solid and seems to run good after the work that I have put into it, I bought the jeep as a project, It sat for quit a while, And I have never had it on the road, If turned right in to a daily driver, I can not say what other minor things may pop up, The jeep is over 35 years old, jeeps this old even as daily drivers, you are allways fixing something,Is a nice solid platform for build a nice ride though,I have the aftermarket air cleaner that was on the jeep, but it was in bad shape so I did not put it back on, You can have it if you want it,But I would buy a new one On Oct-31-11 at 11:22:11 PDT, seller added the following information: Vehicle Transportation Tools powered by Shipping Price Estimator Delivery Zipcode: uShip is the first and largest auction- style marketplace for shipping and transportation services.
