It has only had one owner since new and has always been on a strict company maintenance program since new. This truck hasnt ever had a gooseneck or fifth wheel installed in the bed, so its never done any heavy towing. Since it has always been a Texas truck, theres not any rust or corrosion anywhere. This truck hasnt ever been involved in any accidents and still has its original factory paint on every panel. The paint shines excellent with no fade, and the body is in great shape with hardly a door ding to be found. There is a crack in the windshield, and there are a few scratches on the passenger side rear plastic fender flare and you can few a close-up picture of that below, but thats really the only cosmetic flaw I could find other than a couple very light dings in the tailgate that are hardly noticeable. The truck really looks great. The interior is also clean with no real flaws here either. All the upholstery looks great and there arent any tears or stains anywhere. All power options work great also. The A/C is ice cold and the heat is hot. Ive put over 500 miles on this truck myself and it performed flawlessly. The engine runs perfect and doesnt smoke at idle or run rough at all. The engine doesnt have any blow-by and its not leaking anything either. This generation of the Duramax Diesel engine (the "LBZ") is usually referred to as being the most sought after because it was the last generation of Duramax before all the emissions controls really took over and put a damper on performance and durability. This engine has 300 horsepower and 605 pound-feet of torque. I just had the oil changed and the fuel filter replaced. The transmission shifts perfectly, but the manual shift mode doesnt work because of a glitch in the transmission computer, so the check engine light does come on periodically because of this (the only trouble code present is for this very issue and nothing else). I took the truck to the transmission shop to have this diagnosed and he said it will not hurt a single thing to drive it as it is. The computer glitch only deals with the manual shift mode and thats it, so there are no driveability issues. The airbag light is also on because of a bad sensor behind the front bumper. If this bothers you, its actually really easy to fix and is just a matter of plugging in a new $10 sensor, but I forgot to take care of it before putting it on the market. There is a very slight vibration at random speeds that seems to be because the tires are a bit worn, and the steering pulls slightly to the right. Im trying to be as picky as possible in pointing out everything so that youll know exactly what youre buying, but rest assured that this truck is ready to drive anywhere.
