Perfect Winter Project: 1956 Cadillac Convertible. Copy of original Indiana title AND Transferrable NY registration. ( New York did not issue titles before 1973)Super solid body. A few dings and dents, but solid. Front floors need replacing. Lots and lots of spare parts. I have the complete interior, but it is crappy.NO: Motor, Transmission, Windshield. Car has been sitting for 15+ yrs. The only rust on the body is a tiny spot in front of the drivers side rear wheel and behind the stainless on the doors. Trunk is solid, stainless trim is very good. NOTE: This car looks completely original, however, while cleaning I noticed there was NO switch that I could see for the convertible top. Now I don't know if someone 20 yrs ago made this into a convertible, or the switch is hidden somewhere. title says convertible, registration says convertible you decide and bid accordingly. ALSO: one wheel is incorrect. rolls fine, but hubcap will not fit on rim. Best offer I received so far is 8800. restore, or just make a really kool hot rod, rat rod or resto mod. I will sell world wide and help any way I can. After car is paid for, you can leave it where it is for a few weeks if necessary. I could not find a I.D tag on the car. this is the title I was given when I bought the car.
