so here it is 1986 toyota supra MKII. it needs work. the good. runs and drives like abat out of hell. trans in real nice condition almost as if its new. clutch is in good condition body is in premo condition except for a dent near the gas cap. no rust at all. all the electronics except the headlights wont flip up and down they need 2 new motors low beam and high beam work. all the sensors work has new wires and plugs brakes work. all the lights work except the 2 clear white ones in the front. has a brand new battery. no ticks or knocks. tires are in good condition all the way around. alld the door seals are in good condition. PS PB tilt wheel sunroof power windows AC cruise. the intake has all been sealed up. has good exhaust system with a practically new muffler but its sat a while so it dosent look so new but sounds great and isnt rotted or even rusted just dirty. car has 3/4 tank of gas in it THE BAD. Car needs a good cleaning. both seats have tears on them. looks like the front end was hit but not hard nothing past the bumper was damaged but it looks as though the replaced the whole front bumper clip which is why its black. the car tends to smoke upon start up and hard acceleration will most likely need new valve stem seals which isnt hard but it is time consuming and DOES NOT require tearing down the engine. the speedometer dosent work. checked the speedo cable and it spins so it must be in the gauge cluster thats the problem. sunroof electronics work but the sunroof is off its track. the interior door lights and clock do not work and i believe its directly related to the head lights not going up and down the motors or the wiring /switches in the morors are what is shot so if u replace the motors the lights on the inside will prob work as well. car seems to have a starting problem that ill try my best to explain. upon first start up wether the engine is hot or cold it runs for about a second and then just shuts off. so u have to tap the key about 20 times with out allowing the engine to turn over for it to start again once its running ive never had a problem. the book saids its an emmisions problem but i think its also part ignition problem. will need a right hand mirror. ive got all the headlight relays for under the hood and under the dash and they are good and they are not the problem for why the headlights wont come up. car has sat for a while and if it were me id drive it anywhere but u may want it towed or i can drive it to where ever u want it. car really just needs some tinkering and to be cleaned up. the clear is peeling. the 2 low setting for the heater fan dnt work u will prob need a resistor.
