Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1972 Olds F85 Hardtop Coupe. This is a base model Cutlass two door hardtop with the 350 Olds engine. It has the original Rochester 2 barrel carb. and the Turbo 350 transmission. The differential is a ten bolt with highway gears. The odometer reads just over 90,000 miles. I can't prove it to be actual miles, but the drive is nice and the interior is nice. I believe the odometer shows actual miles. For an F85, this one is nicely optioned. It has ralleye wheels, power steering, power brakes and factory air-conditioning. It is a bench seat/column shift car. The brake booster and master cylinder are new. The A/C was working, but the compressor locked up. There is still R12 in the system. I feel a good compressor will repair the system. The tires are near new BFG Radial T/A's. They are so new that all of the blue coating hasn't been washed away from the raised letter tires. The paint is fairly recent. I did not have the car painted. It appears to have been professionally done. I don't see signs of much body work. The panels are straight, there aren't bondo cracks or rust bubbles. I think there have been cheater quarters welded on. The trunk and frame are solid. If you look closely, you can find some weakness in the floor pans. Not holes, but spots where corrosion has weakened the metal enough that it flexes when you push on it. No patches would be necessary for safe driving. The interior is nice. It shows its age, but is not worn out or torn up. The gauges all work as do the wipers. The modern stereo plays nicely. I like driving this car. It performs very well. It is not a gas guzzler. I feel very comfortable at 75 mph and in traffic. I have driven it on out-of-state trips and feel confident it would be worthy of a trip to your home. I like the fact that this Cutlass is a bit unique. Typically the F-85's are stripped. This one is nicely equipped. Please message me with any questions you may have. Please review my photos and description before bidding. This is a binding auction. It is at no reserve, so the final bidder will own my car. I expect $500.00 down payment via Paypal within 24 hours. The balance must be paid in full within seven days or the down payment will be kept. I don't mind storing it for up to two weeks.
