Vehicle Detail
THIS VEHICLE IS A RELISTING BECAUSE OF AN ERROR IN THE ORIGINAL LISTING 1989 DODGE RAIDER - 6 CYLINDER, AUTOMATIC, 2 DOOR, 4 WHEEL DRIVE, 164900 MILES, WHITE WITH BEIGE INTERIOR. OWNERS MANUAL AND OEM SERVICE MANUAL INCLUDED This vehicle has a prior salvage title. I purchased the vehicle at a salvage auction with knowledge of its prior owner and some service history. The extent of the damage was replacement of the left upper A arm and ball joint. No frame or structural damage was incurred. The vehicle appears to be mechanically and stucturally solid. After changimg the engine oil and filter, inspecting all other fluids, belts, etc. I drove the vehicle approx. 155 miles to my home. It drove smoothly and quietly. No fluids or adjustments were necessary enroute. The oil level on the dip stick remained on the full line. Transmission fluid is full and not discolored. There is some surface rust on some of the frame and undercarraige, but none that affects the structural integrity of the vehicle(in my opinion) My intent is to fully disclose all knowledge I have of this vehicles condition and service history. Questions will be answered promptly. Bidders with less than 5 feedbacks will be cancelled unless contacting me first. Payment and Shipping instructions as listed On Oct-19-11 at 04:31:02 PDT, seller added the following information: Some additional info - Was able to verify some of prior service history - recently(less than 1000 miles) replaced items to include radiator, starter, front and most likely rear(did not pull drum to see) brakes. List of items serviced that I received included transmission service. Unable to clarify "service", but tranny pan has recently been reinstalled (fresh permatex residue). The front stabilizer bushings have also been replaced. While underneath vehicle, I did look for moisture and/or any obvious parts, in need of repair. Seal between transfer case and front shaft is developing a leak, but does not appear serious. No other signs of moisture from leaks or parts in disrepair, were visually found. I purchased this vehicle with the intention of keeping it. Since then, priorities have changed and will be spending the winter in a warmer climate. Simply no longer have the need for the vehicle. In my opinion, this vehicle has alot of service life remaining and at the very least, would make a good project for further restoration and could be used as a daily driver, with some preventive maintenance checks.
