Only a few thousand built with this special exterior trim, fabric interior, light wood accents, and unique two tone paint treatment Currently Non-Operational. Up to date registration. Clear CA title in my name. I am a car collector, purchased this car from Illinois in 2007. Now have lost storage. It was not in as pristine condition as I had hoped so I lost interest in fixing it up. I have kept her running and changed fluids but have not driven on the streets. The Good:Engine runs & drives excellent. Newer dual exhaust. Smooth powerful, sounds great Transmission shifts properly. No unusual noises or hesitation.Car received a good driver quality paint job in 2006. Looks and shines great. Plastic bumper inserts appear new and have no cracks or sun damage. (Very rare) Interior is very nice with no sun damage. Seats show no rips, tears, or wear. Carpets not worn. Dash not cracked or faded. Newer headliner not sagging. Important options/systems work except a/c compressor, driver's side window Power seats, locks, windows, tilt wheel, cruise control, inside trunk release, rear defroster, intermittent wipers, dual inside adjustable sport mirrors, light group, loaded Great glass. Extremely clean trunk no rust visible in quarters. No signs of body damage. Frame, underside appear solid Bought with Illinois title that stated actual mileage under 59,000 miles. The wear on pedals, carpet, seats all suggest that mileage is true. The Bad: Car has non-operational title and will NOT pass CA smog. The emissions system needs attention. Hoses show age and incorrectly hooked up May need carburetor rebuild. Starts easily but needs to warm up before placing in gear. Front end/steering needs attention. Pulls to right, steers unevenly. Drives well at freeway speeds as is but will need attention for safe operation. Tires show good tread and hold air, but appear over five years old. Driver's window motor just stopped working. Motor is not getting power.Trunk key lost. (Opens with inside release). Parking brake disconnected. Original Buick Road Wheels show surface rust and are missing center caps. Bumpers and exterior chrome is fair. Shows dulling, pitting, some paint over spray. Interior plastic chrome shows dulling and pitting. Minor cracking in driver's armrest. (I believe car was stored in dark but moist place, accounting for surface rust, and discoloring.) With minor sorting out this car would be rare and comfortable driver quality ride. If you like big box GM cars from 77-83 (Chevy Caprice/Impala) consider this rare Buick. No reserve and will not be listed again. It goes to local parts yard for $700 if not sold.
