Hi, I am selling my 1974 Olds Custom Cruiser Wagon as it is not needed anymore. I am in the middle of restoring a 1971 Custom Cruiser that has been in my family since new, and this car is different just enough that it is not useful to me. I bought the car a year ago, from California where is spent all its life, with the intention of using the floors and other body parts. The car is in great shape underneath as most of it looks like it came from the factory. I tried to take pictures of the control arms to show that the factory stamp numbers are as readable as the day it rolled off the assembly line. I have not touched it since I bought it, It just sat in my driveway. I started the car about once a month to keep it free, even in the cold Chicago winter. (that was a lot of fun!) As you can see by the pics the rear window is broken out(bought that way) but the plastic I put over it has not leaked and the tailgate operated flawlessly for me. The engine is a 455, the odometer reads 02606 and I am pretty sure it has rolled over at least once. It drives and shifts in all gears, I drove it about 1/4 mile from where the truck dropped it off to my house. I moved it to the other side of my driveway last week and noticed the brakes were soft. The California sun did a number on the dash and the top of the car has only mild surface rust. Other than that there is no rust that I have been able to find.The front and rear seat are in exceptional condition. That is about it. Please ask any questions and I will respond.
