Vehicle Detail

Hello Folks, Up for your consideration is my 2000 Ford Focus, that needs a new motor, or a re-build. It has low miles considering the year and for a 4 cylinder. The interior is in excellent shape with minor signs of wear, if any in most places. Everything works as it should, gauges, heat, ac, shifter, brakes, gas, steering, seatbelts, seat adjusters, dome lights, everything... The exterior of the car is in good shape with a few signs of wear, such as some scratches, most notable being the rear drivers side scratch, and the passenger side door which has an engraved scratch/dent (no more than a quarter inch at most in depth), also note the passenger mirror is broken off. The wiring harness is still there. All lights work both front and rear bumpers are in one piece, along with the side skirts, none are hanging or sagging or anything to that nature. The hood and trunk door both open as they should. All locks work. Tires are near new, Rims are Great, brakes, calipers and rotors are in excellent shape. No problems with the transmission, or anything else mechanical, aside from the motor. The motor has a bad #2 Cylinder. The options for fixing this would be rebuilding it, or buying a rebuilt motor and dropping it in. The exhaust is there with no problems (cat. converter, muffler, exhaust manifold, o2 sensor, etc.) I wouldn't be selling the car if I hadn't already purchased another. I don't have time to wait on a rebuild, as I drive approximately 60+ miles daily to and from school. If you have any questions, or would like to see the car in person, please email me through ebay, and I will get back to you as soon as possible. I have the clean title in hand. The car has been sitting for nearly 3 weeks now. The hood latch does work fine, it wasn't down all the way for the pictures. The car will need to be towed or trailered upon pickup. This would make an excellent parts car if you didn't want to rebuild it. A $200.00 non-refundable deposit is due at auction close, the rest in cash upon pickup. This car is being Sold AS-IS, with all sales being final. A written bill of sale will be included to the buyer as well. Thank you for viewing, and good luck bidding! On Oct-22-11 at 22:17:37 PDT, seller added the following information: I've had a lot of questions regarding the #2 Cylinder. From what the mechanic put on the invoice, the piston was detatched from the connecting rod. It wasn't ran longer than 30 seconds like this, as I was in shock as to how wretched it sounded. Unfortunately I will be busy all day tomorrow, and will not be able to answer any more questions. However, if it is of absolute necessity, please text message (meaning no calls, as I will be in a meeting from 8am until 5pm cst) the following number.... (218) - 2 three 2 - 2 four 3 eight. Thank you so much for all the interest, and I hope the successful winning bidder enjoys the car and has a good plan for it.
