This is a very nice very clean 1989 750il I have all the service records since the car was new. This car has alot of new parts and was very well taken care of. Here is a list of some of the new parts: New clutch fan All new brakes and rotors and sensor power steering pump new exhaust plus o2 sensors new driveshaft trans mounts 4 used E32 wheels, will need new tires. New radiator 2 Dinan chips D900-5031 1 Dinan chip D902-0070 Timing Case Cover Gaskets replaced Plus alot of misc gaskets and seals have all documentation All regular service, oil brakes trans have all documentation There is alot of documentation I would be here all day listing it all so I have tried to list most of the major items. Most of the service records are dated mid to late 90s' and early 2000. The last 2 owners of the car did not drive it that much. The car has the original paint so there is the normal rock chips and misc places that need attention for a car of this age. There are some door dings here and there but no major damage. All could be taken care of with a paintless dent removal company. On some of the edges like the hood and deck lid the paint is thin or has been burnt through from someone going crazy with a buffer. The only body damage on the car was done by me............. to say the least I was very pissed. You can see the picture of the rear end. I dented up the metal right under the tailights when getting the car home right after I bought it. The plastic trim on the bumper was damaged also. There are a few electrical issues with the car also. After doing some homework I have found this is pretty common with this car. The automatic door locks work sometimes. About a 50/50 shot each time you try them. The sunroof opens all the way but when you try and push the button foward to flip open the back it does nothing. The headliner is starting to sag also. Plus the panel for the sunroof switch needs replaced, clips are broke. Heated seats are not working, power seats work though, even has rear power seats. Flat bed driver lost the tow hook cover. Also missing the driverside headlight sprayer thats on top of the bumper. A/C blows nice and cold. Interior is in very great shape, leather is very nice. You will need a battery, the battery I have is too tall and it is located under the rear seat. It will come with the car but the seat will not sit down all the way. Has a new cd player stereo installed, sounds awsome with the original speaker system. The car runs great motor is strong no noises knocks or anything. Very quiet when the car is running. Now the big issue with the car the transmission is slipping. I bought the car knowing it had a transmission issue, I had the car brought home on a flat bed. When rolling it off thats when I messed up the rear end. The day after I got it I installed a new filter and fluid and the transmission worked just fine. I drove it for a few months and then it started slipping. You can drive it you just have to be easy. I do not have the time to replace the transmission. I got the car at a good price so I should be able to sell it and be ok and someone else can have a very good well documented 750. I love the car, it rides sooo nice. The motor is strong and runs great. I am selling the car with no reserve and a low starting price.
