1973 BMW R60/5. Showing 15,711 miles. I believe these miles to be original and accurate. This bike was professionally restored b y Max BMW in North Hampton, NH and was completed in May 2007. I have all documents/receipts (eights pages of itemized parts) related to the restoration by Max BMW which total well over $10K. The bike has been ridden approximately 1,000 miles since the restoration. The paint is original on the tank, front and rear fenders and they are in excellent condition. No dents, dings or scratches. All other black components were powder coated.Engine, clutch, and transmission completely gone through.New tires and tubes (Metzler Lasertec).New BMW branded maintenance free battery and battery tender set-up.Based on the receipts, Max replaced all metal components with new or replated originals.
