You are bidding on a one owner 2001 Toyota Rav4 L model. It has 202,162 miles on the odometer. The engine has been maintained and runs strong. Actually, it needs an O2 sensor. All struts are in excellent condition. Tires have 90% tread left on them and are Kelly Charger GT - P235/60R16 in size. They were bought late last year for PA inspection. There are no tears or rips on the interior, but seats do have some staining. The power sunroof works well without any leaks. The body is in Very Good condition with normal wear on the outside. However, the fiberglass tire cover on the spare tire is cracked and has been lamefully repaired. The transmission will need to be replaced however. Toyota issued a recall on the transmission, but we did not get the notice until the mileage was beyond what they had stated would be the limit for extended warranty service. (150,000 miles) We drove this car with the bad transmission, for another 4 years, it would shift hard from 3rd to 5th gears. About 3 weeks ago, we lost 3rd through 5th gear, and reverse. We drove it home from the dealership using 1st and 2nd gears. We had hoped it would go to 300,000 miles, since it had lasted this long and the engine was still going strong, but sadly no. It has many user friendly parts for another Rav4. If you bid and want it shipped, we can help you arrange for shipping, but at your cost. If you decide to tow it or drive it home locally, all costs are on you. It has a clear title. If you win the auction, we will need a deposit within 48 hours.The Rav4 will go to scrap, demolition derby, or sold locally if it does not sell on ebay.
